Hi! I'm the dad behind Dad Lab Co.

A few years ago I found myself doing what a lot of parents do — buying toys that looked amazing in the ads, only to watch them sit ignored in the corner while my kids went back to their tablets.

Sound familiar?

I got frustrated. Not at my kids, at the toys. They were either too complicated, broke too fast, or just weren't exciting enough to compete with a screen. So I started looking for something better.

How Dad Lab Co. started

I started testing toys with my own kids. Brutally honest testers, by the way. If they picked it up once and never touched it again, cut. If they were still playing with it three weeks later and dragging it to grandma's house... keep.

That's how we ended up with the four toys we sell today. The Dino Balloon Ball, the Shark Squirt Gun, the Automatic Bubble Gun, and the Hover Soccer Ball. Every single one passed the test, my kids still fight over them.

What we believe

We believe kids should spend more time running, laughing, and playing outside. We believe parents deserve toys that actually work. And we believe the best family memories happen when everyone puts their screens down.

Every toy we sell is designed to create those moments, the ones you look back on and smile about. The epic backyard water battles. The bubble explosions in the living room. The hover soccer championships that got way too competitive.

A promise from one parent to another

Everything in our store has been personally tested and approved by real kids, mine. If I wouldn't buy it for my own family, it's not on the site. Simple as that.
